Joking, but kind of serious theory about Jagr:

Remember that last year, Jagr signed with the Dallas Stars before being dealt to the Bruins at the trade deadline. That deal ended up getting him to within two wins of a championship. Maybe Jagr’s figured out that if he wants to chase another ring, the best way to do it is to hold off on picking a final destination for as long as possible.

The plan would look like this: Sign with a team where you’ll be comfortable for a few months, with a management team you can trust. Let the first half of the season play out, separating the pretenders from the contenders. And then, at the 2014 trade deadline, pick your bandwagon and hop aboard. Jagr gets another playoff run, the Devils get some picks or prospects, and everyone’s happy.

Honestly...that's interesting. I wonder if that's actually what he's doing.

That has to be the only reason, there is no other way you'd want to go to New Jersey for an entire season. I'd rather retire then head to that dead end spot.

If we can sign him as a UFA next summer, I would sign him in a heartbeat.

I would sign him as a UFA, don't think it worth trading for him.

If any of Zucker/Coyle/Nino put up a big year (50+ points) or if the cap doesn't increase as much as is speculated I probably wouldn't sign him though.

Sorry to say that I've never even heard of the guy born in Africa or Great Britain. And Craig Adams is from a country I've never even heard of.
