Haven't been around here much lately, watching SWE-CAN now. Anyone know if Brodin is on Team Sweden. If not, why?

No he's not. They already got Edler from Vancouver and probably didn't have more roster spots open for defencemen. Don't know if they would've chosen him anyway.

Got that from the GDT on the main board. Okay so I'm not a hockey nut like some of you guys here. I don't know the bottom pairing guys there.

So, Edler with a blatant knee at Eric Staal. That was as intentional as they come.

Still, I think Finland has better chance against Sweden than they would've had against Canada, so a good result in my book. Also, FIN-SWE is in general one of THE rivalries in international hockey, so that's a bonus.

Definitely a game to watch, even if you're a neutral fan. FIN-SWE is on Saturday, 4:00 PM EET/8:00 AM CST.

Now a 5 on 3 on a delay of game penalty that I believe went off another players arm.

Of course it's tied. LA takes the lead on the PP.

I'm honestly not sure if the playoffs are worth watching with this crap.

"He looks like in some disbelief" No, that's just his patented Shep Face™

But I agree, that was a horrible, horrible call.

Wings with a dominating win in Chicago this afternoon, that was fun to watch!

On a side note, 1-1 between Kings/Sharks

BTW, is Havlat on the last year or does he have one more year left on his deal?

He's got next year and the year after. Trading him for Heatley, who only has next year, was one of the many positives of that trade.

Oh thanks, the reason I ask is cause I bet ya my bottom dollar Sharks buy him out this offseason. Horrific year and now again injured for them.

5-3 in playoff OT, not every day you are going to see that.

Am I the only one that thinks the Sharks coach looks like a pedophile?
