Mafield is gone. Wilson is gone. Heck even Tubiski is gone (not that I'd want him). The trash MN had last year holding down the fort won't cut it. I don't think MN is in the Fields (I'd like to see that actually) conversation.

I don;t think Wilson is the QB he was a few years ago either, but he was the best of the rest imo. And really for $1.2m it opens up cap flexibility to make the team better at other positions.

I'm ok with signing someone like Tyrod Taylor, Joe Flacco or Minshew on a 1 year deal. Of course, all this assumes we are addressing the future QB situation at the draft.

I still think there is a possibility of Kirk re-signing. If so, I hope its no longer than for 2 years.

Wilson can’t read defenses. He previously got by on his mobility. He doesn’t have that anymore.
He’s a has been.

Flacco (for some reason I thought he re-signed) is the only one worth mentioning of those 3. The other 2 are the same junk MN tried and failed with last season.

No matter who plays the position, the Vikings won't be in contention to win the Super Bowl unless they address the defense.

66% completion rate, 26 TD, 8 INT, 3000 yds last year, and who was he throwing too? I can't name any Denver WRs off the top of my head.

You cant really go wrong with paying Russ 1.3 million a year. You could do alot worse. Theres kickers and punters making more than that.

Dont mind the Greenard signing at all. Under 20 per year for a 26-27 year old pass rusher. Sucks to see Hunter go though been one of my favorite Vikings for a very long time.

Anytime you can sign a 36 year old coming off a torn achilles to a 4 year deal, you have to do it.

Though I actually don't really blame Atlanta for doing it. That division is very winnable and their your QB has been putrid.

I'm scared to see what his contract will be. There's no way it should be what he's going to get, IMHO.
