Evason fired for a worse coach and now I have to root for the bears to win? This has been a disgusting day.

It's not the last week or two of the season, so it's way too early in the season to root for the Bears.

Fields is so done. Bears have to take a QB at #1.

Do you think they will re-sign Cousins for next season?
They have to. Trading up is not in Kwesi’s vocabulary and we’re not gonna have a high enough pick to get someone that can step in right away. Besides, he’s a stud and JJ wants him here. Give him 2, find an actual young option via trade in those 2 years.

So Penix Jr is wouldn't be considered an option?

KOC's seat should be getting warm.

Getting warmer
Tonight's loss has me feeling similar to our Halloween loss to the Cowboys 2 years ago, which was the moment I said it's time for Zimmer to go. Especially after Fields' 2nd fumble when he was content to go 3 and out and punt it back. No one who lacks the situational awareness to know the Bears would still get the ball back with over 2 minutes with a 3 and out while only needing a FG belongs in the NFL as a HC. Only go conservative if you get a 1st down on that drive.

What an absolute shit show that game was last night. Vikings suck, Wild suck....what a long winter this will be.

This is why people needed to calm down on Dobbs... he's a journeyman.
I'd still like to see what Jaren Hall can do.

Dobbs was part of the issue. The offensive line also played a very poor game, and I don't get why Mattison is still getting the majority of the carries over Ty Chandler. Unlike Mattison, Chandler is fast enough to hit the outside corner and is more capable of ripping off longer runs.

I admit that I let Dobbs 1st two games hypnotize me a bit into thinking this team had a chance to do something this season, maybe even win the division and host a playoff game. Last night showed me the truth.

Ty Chandler is not as good with pass blocking, last night, that was an issue. That's why CJ Ham was on the field a lot more last night.

The Vikes struggled with the blitz, Dobbs panicked every time too, just making it worse.

The Bears are very good vs the run, neither back was going to get the run game going. Chandler was beat to the edge the few times he tried.
