Vikings fans are back to planning the parade lol. Man is this a bad football team. Really hard to watch them step on their own dicks every single game

Well, that had to be one of the worst played football games I have seen where the end result is supposed to make me happy. lol Go Gophers! Floyd of Rosedale is back at the U of M!

But really, to have that kick return by Iowa be called back because of a hand waving motion and just the utter ineptitude of both offenses. Yikes. lol

Diggs, one of the best situational/ spacial awareness guys ever to play.

This type of heads up awareness is why the Minneapolis Miracle happened.

Packers are going to pick top 5 this year. They suck. So many young players doing the wrong things (like receivers running the same route). Just brutal.

Please go and get Marvin Harrison Jr.

As long as they beat the Bears twice the season is a success for me.

All wilson has to do is make a half way decent pass to an open receiver and this game is over. But noooooo

All of the responses I have to this would break forum rules for flaming. So I'll just say "okay."
Going from AR to Love like going from a Bugatti to an old Ford. I feel for GB fans.

AFCN is not very good this year so I think the Vikes' not even close to being out of it.

Love is a bad QB but Mond is not better than him.
Love needs a safety valve veteran receiver. Everyone he’s throwing to is either a rookie or second year player. Rodgers struggled with Watson and Doubs last year and he had other vets (Lazard, Cobb, Tunyan) to throw to. They replaced all three of those guys with rookies (Musgrave, Reed, Wix). Just not smart roster construction from the GM.

This is also compounded by Jones being injured for 3 games after the Bears game and not being 100% in the games he did play. Bahktiari is one of the best linemen in the game, takes up $21M in cap, and he’s out for the year after playing just one game (Bears week 1). That’s arguably the two best players on offense making minimal impact post week 1.

Those are ALSO compounded by Rodgers, Amos and Lowry representing $51M in dead cap and the team total dead cap is $61M. There’s just no space to go and get the players they need to help Love adjust.

Finally, I’ll end this little rant with Rodgers went 6-10 in his first year. I think Love will be fine. He just needs time and impact players to help him.

Top of the upcoming draft at this point in the season seems interesting.

Youve got the Bears who are guaranteed to have atleast 1 maybe even 2 picks in the top 5, then you have the Cards.

After that its a bit of a slog where you have a bunch of bad teams or teams who may or may not represent their record appropriately around the 2 win mark like the Packers, Vikings, Broncos, Giants, Pats, Titans and Raiders. A couple of those teams have just paid or are about to be paying their QB a crap ton of money which makes it harder for them to move off of like the Broncos, Giants, and Cards.

Pats i fully expect to win some games they shouldnt because of Bill, like this week.

Vikings unfortunately have Kirk who is the epitome of QB purgatory so were bound to end up at around the 6-9 win mark just good enough to miss out on the top QBs because thats the Viking and MN sports way. Kinda why i sorta wish JJ is out longer.

Titans may end up there but they have a really good coach in Vrabel and assuming have their QBotF in Levis.

Broncos are actively trying to tank to me so they could end up there but maybe they could get on a roll eventually with a Payton and Russ but i doubt it. Thats why i was rooting for the Bronco win tonight. Russ and his deal hasnt even kicked in yet which is crazy.

Giants i could also see there but they just paid Danny Dimes so they might want to try and continue to develop him and their defense is pretty good.

Raiders surprisingly have 3 wins but arent a good football team and they also have Josh Mcd who is probably a bad HC in the league they could easily end up there.

Itd be great if the Colts somehow ended up with a 1OA or 2OA with Anthony Richardson being out for the year. Who knows what the Cards wanna do with Kyler because they still owe him a crap ton of money to where it makes it extremely difficult for them to move him.

That would suck as a packer fan because if they pick 1st or 2nd they will go with Marvin Harrison Jr and that's who I want. I don't see the packers picking a QB if they are top 5. I think there are question marks around both Caleb Williams and Drake Maye too.

Would it help? yes. Along with having your OL healthy because yall have a decent amount of injuries up there. But i dont see it at all with Love and im not the on

If either Maye or Williams were in last years draft they’d be going 1OA.

I’ve been saying it for a couple weeks now to where the Bears have a legit shot at getting both Harrison Jr and 1 of Williams or Maye and it’s scary.

I also don’t see a scenario where the packers can get him. They’re in QB purgatory as well and are too good to be picking that high. Odds are Harrison Jr will be going #3 or #4 OA. But again I could easily be wrong here.

It's tough to run through progressions as a young quarterback when receivers are running the wrong routes. Love has plenty of arm talent and he is mobile enough as a quarterback. It's just extreme growing pains with a young team. And it's frustrating because is it coaching causing the problems or is it inexperience with the playbook? Maybe it's poor play calling.

I'm just saying, when it comes to Williams or Maye, they are not some slam dunk quarterback like Burrows or Lawrence or Luck pre-injury, to name a couple of #1 picks. They have some question marks in their game. Side note: looking at the past #1 picks for quarterbacks is rather rough... Wowzers.

The packers just lost to Denver. We are on pace to lose to the bears later in the season at this point. I think it'd be a really fun if the packers, bears and vikings all had a top 3 pick. I don't think that is mathematically possible, but I would love to know based on each of the different scenarios who each team would pick. Here's my guess:

Vikings: Williams-Maye-Penix Jr (They need someone to replace Cousins)
Bears: Williams-Harrison Jr-Maye (this is the most interesting, are they done with Fields?)
Packers: Harrison Jr-Williams-Alt (elite receiver needed, Williams is the only QB I'd take over Love, and Alt is one of the top offensive tackles)

That call to overturn the punt return TD was definitely unexpected.....and one can make the argument that the Gophers didn't deserve to win the game....but, I would say since Iowa only managed 2 yards of total offense in the 2nd half, they deserved to lose even more.

And that Iowa QB has to be the worst starting QB in all of major college football.
