Definitely was duck duck goose growing up in the north -- only heard it the other way from Wisconsin cousins.

Kfan mentioned that addison's injury was just cramps. He got an IV and was fine after.

grew up elsewhere and have never heard of this. There was such a thing as "goosing" someone, which involved a quick grab to the nether regions. Even there there was some regional differentiation, as some places it was a quick burrow to the ass, others, to the front. If you did one while they were used to the other it caused some consternation.

I grew up in the Northern Suburbs and it was "duck, duck, grey duck" for me....but I gotta admit that "duck, duck, goose" makes more sense.

the way it was taught to me is that duck duck grey duck is as much of a chasing game as it is a game of tricks. When we played it you were supposed to add adjectives to the duck like blue duck, green duck, and etc. the point was also trying to get someone to stand up like if you went greeeen duck. if a kid stood up at green duck you don't need to run around you just switch seats and they are now it.

The old myth is that Sweden played duck duck grey duck and that minnesota was the only ones that correctly played the translated game in english however, both versions of duck duck grey duck and duck duck goose are in Sweden.

From now on, any time someone says goose in any context, I'm going to "correct" them and say grey duck.

"Wow, did you see those canadian grey ducks?"
"I'm going grey duck hunting."

"I dare you to grey duck him/her!"

Disclaimer: I don't actually recommend or endorse grey ducking anyone without consent.

Exactly this... you would often start with just duck, duck, duck, duck, then randomly add in red (or blue or green etc) duck to fake people out... build the tension, so that when you finally say grey duck, the person picked is slower to react due to the previous fake outs.

Even my family in the range says duck duck grey duck

Goose is nothing but a foreign insurgent response.
Been here my whole life aside from a 5 year stint in Indiana and never heard anyone say grey duck. Have since raised a daughter and it was always duck duck goose for her too. Very strange

This is a win-win week for me. Packers win, hey they beat Minnesota! Cool! Packers lose, keep tanking for Harrison Jr! Awesome!
Sounds like from your former response that you like Love. How did the rest of Packers nation feel about picking him? I'm just curious

I think most people don’t dislike him. We are not even halfway through the year yet. Hard to get a gauge on him when there are so many young players on offense not doing the right things.

In terms of drafting him? Most people had been calling for them to draft weapons for Rodgers for years. Primarily another prime time receiver. They’ve spent something like 9 of their past 10 1st round picks on defensive players and the 1 is obviously Jordan Love. Prior to Love, the last offensive player 1st round pick was back in 2011 (offensive lineman), 2010 (offensive lineman) and then Rodgers in 2005. The last time they picked a receiver in round one was Javon Walker in 2002.

You can probably tell why I’m all aboard the Harrison Jr train.

I'll be at the game this Sunday. Never been to Lambeau before and looking forward to it.
Should be fun! I’ve never been to Lambeau for a game. I did the 9/11 stair climb a couple years back and that’s the only time I’ve been inside the stadium.

I'm not a Green Bay fan and have been there 4-5 times for games. It's a fun time.

I don't see Green Bay out tanking the Bears, Panthers or even the Cardinals. Hell the Broncos are pretty bad. Bears could wind up with both Harrison and Williams.

The Panthers aren't tanking, their pick belongs to the Bears.
So the Bears, Bears and Cardinals

I think he's in just the right place. Yes I do think he's good though. Not sure if he would have been as good if he was in Carolina right now tho
Pretty much. I’ve heard a lot about how Love’s fancy stats are similar to Purdy. He just has a lot of veterans around him in SF.
