QBs just all develop differently. Some of these guys just find themselves in really ideal situations, like Purdy.

I do think certain teams/systems in college make QBs look better than they really are.

Ohio State is one off the top of my head. Great teams every year, and the QBs put up crazy stats. Move those QBs up a level and they are nothing burgers.

For the most part, yes. Has to do a lot with actually having to read the defenses

Regarding Purdy, like Brady in NE, I think he kind of fell into just the right spot in SF. Warner also kind of fell into a nice place with the Rams.

Before the JJ news i thought it was a pretty easy win for us but now that hes out i can see Bears pulling it out especially being at home and feeling good after their win over the Commanders.

He's hurt and was left off the roster. Same old story. Taylor is very good defensively though in center.

Interesting. Never thought about it like this. Hockey has the rule where if you trip/penalize someone on a clear path to an empty net then it’s a goal. Maybe football will have a rule like that too?

Checked in the game 3 times and 2 of the 3 times they had guys on 1st and 2nd with 1 out and now this with the bases loaded. Hard to win games when you dont capitalize on opportunities like that

Soccer has the same thing. I would agree with that rule change, but it would have to be a very clear cut path to the end zone. No way that a TD should be wiped out by such an action.
