I was thinking Santana, but he usually got game 1Jack, probably.

Pleasantly surprised to see them get a game in Houston.
I was wrong about Brock Purdy....He's good.
Oh, and Quit for Caleb.
The irony with this post is Purdy (like Brady) is "Mr. Irrelevant". lol
Never pick QBs in the first round.
I think Kansas City is glad they did.The irony with this post is Purdy (like Brady) is "Mr. Irrelevant". lol

And I could list you a dozen bombs or QBs drafted first round that didn't come close to their potential.I think Kansas City is glad they did.
And I could list you numerous bombs or players drafted first round that didn't come close to their potential at every position. And I could list you a dozen bombs or QBs drafted first round that didn't come close to their potential.
Williams doesn't look at all much better than a dozen other QBs I've seen recently.
No need to worry, Vikes will not be bombing. Haven't even played one NFCN game yet.
The 3 first round QBs from this last draft are looking pretty good so far…And I could list you a dozen bombs or QBs drafted first round that didn't come close to their potential.

What a wasted pick Mond was. And I don't see a whole lot of great things coming from Hall, either.
I think QBs are too flip-of-the-coin as far as if they can hack NFL or not.
Ironically neither of these guys were taken in the first round, so...
I doubt thatIndeed they weren't. But Mond was #66, which should have been a real player.
I could draft better than some NFL front offices.

I’ve heard the success rate of a QB drafted in the 1st is 50% but I’m also not too sure what they deem as “successful”What’s the success rate of QBs picked by round? Does it go up or down by round?
And Warner played for Northern Iowa lol. Should have been a Gopher. Purdy also playing just south the border.QBs are like goalies. You take one every draft and hope 1 in 10 turn into something. If you don't need one it's a late round pick, it you do need one then it's a higher round pick.
I do wonder how many QBs don't turn into anything due to lack of opportunity.
I mean just look at GB with Favre as their ironman starter. A-Rod, Mark Burnell, and Kurt Warner were his backups at different times. Not even counting A-Rod (who replaced Favre); that's still a few SBs and Division Championship games for those QBs.
Of if Bledsoe didn't get injured would Brady have turned into the monster player he was?
