Burnes has a no-hitter though 8 and the Brewers pull him after 109 pitches to start the bottom of the 9th. I get it's a 0-0 game, but the guy has pitched a gem, let him have the 9th.

Looking at 0-2 with the Eagles coming up on Thursday night. If you were to bottom out this would be the year to do it lol

Poor play calling to start the game, poor decision making by Kirk once the play calling got cleaned up, then the defense ran out of steam and couldn't stop a thing.

Oh, also of note... all the personnel changes on D? SO MUCH MORE SPEED!

Our D was deathly slow the past 3 years, was good to see guys able to run with the other team for the first time in a long time

Jay Ward lining up in the neutral zone which led to a TD and KJ letting the rookie rip the ball out of his hands for and INT pretty much cost us the game. Dont really mean squat now we lost and thats all that matters.

Or Kirk's 3 turnovers...

This is the first Packers game I've really watched in a long time.

Love looks like a rookie. It's weird not seeing Crosby as the kicker.

Even in slo mo that was a bang bang play. KJ had no time to secure that ball, and not being a big TE, couldn't shield it with his body, and was surrounded by two guys.

I would call it part Kirk's fault for throwing it into such a tight spot, part KJ, and mainly a great play by the defender. I do wonder why they wouldn't be throwing it to the bigger body guys in those situations, though. I mean, why are we paying Hockenson, if not for that?

The 1st fumble was was unlucky. At first I thought it was some screwup between the backup center and Kirk, but turns out it was the right tackle swinging his hand around that knocked it out, before Kirk could secure it.

There were clearly better options on that play. Kirk was stupid for trying to force it to him with others much more open (including Hockenson)
I didn't see any footage with a wider view, but yeah, it seemed like he was forcing it in there.

So, are the Bears that bad, or are GB that good? Are the Vikes going to be in 3rd place in the division this year?

Bears are just that bad, both the O-line or D-line are awful. I'm wondering how long Fields will "trust the system" before reverting back to the run for his life every passing down.

GB has good O-line and D-line so it made it an easy day for their QB making his 1st real start. They'll have some growing pains games this year with their young offense.

MN played with fire all last year in their 1 score wins. They're due to regress to the norm this year.

Cousins is like the Mikko Koivu of QB's. Good enough to keep us winning, but not good enough to win it all.
