Looks like Arraez won the AL batting title? That's pretty neat, I guess, in a disappointing season. Kept Judge from the triple crown.
The defense i have little to no hope for at this point. The new DC doesnt seem to want to blitz he just plays it safe constantly and tries to contain contain contain.‘Twas at the Vikings game in London last weekend, and man our defense looked bad. The pass rush is non-existent most of the time, and their zone coverage is abysmal, along with their man coverage. NO was missing their starting QB and Mike Thomas and we barely snuck away, although we historically are terrible against backup QBs.
Cameron Jordan beat the shit out of O’Neil all day. That defense is tough. Between Jordan and Davenport, their edge rushers gave us huge problems and KOC still isn’t recognizing that running PA from under center with this group is not working. He tried it several times on 2nd and long Sunday and they were sacked multiple times. I still think we have time to sort it out on offense, if this team could finish a drive we win that game 35-25 or 42-25. The defense, I am very worried about.
Again, I think the selective blitzing is due to the terrible secondary being at its worst in man coverage. The defense i have little to no hope for at this point. The new DC doesnt seem to want to blitz he just plays it safe constantly and tries to contain contain contain.
Indeed i had low expectations for the D and yes our backs are not top notch however the lack of blitzing and only playing 2 deep zone constantly is frustrating to watch considering how easily a team can work down the field for 8-15 yards a play in the middle of our defense over and over again.Again, I think the selective blitzing is due to the terrible secondary being at its worst in man coverage.
Better secondary? Easier to gamble with the blitz. Donatell has a good track record in this league, so I'm not going to hang this on scheme if we can't even give him a chance with personnel.
It was easy to see this train wreck of a defense coming based on personnel alone before training camp ever came around.
I don't disagree. It's frustrating to watch. All bad defenses are. Even without a lot of blitzing, you can see other teams are constantly burning our outmatched corners. Put them on an island and send in an ill-timed blitz though, and that steady work down the field becomes a lightning quick score instead. That's why you have to really set them up and try to time them perfectly instead.Indeed i had low expectations for the D and yes our backs are not top notch however the lack of blitzing and only playing 2 deep zone constantly is frustrating to watch considering how easily a team can work down the field for 8-15 yards a play in the middle of our defense over and over again.
ESPNs model but still kinda cool to see.
We were talking about this on another website this AM, and we think its because of a new offensive scheme, along with running more out of the shotgun as well. Someone mentioned that when you install a new offensive scheme, its the run game that takes the longest to open up. PFF grades havent been that bad for the OL. Ed Ingram the rookie RG has has some rough games that have stood out to me, but thats to be expected when trotting a rookie out there. Are the other two outside of O'Neill just terrible? I feel like Dalvin should be cooking after reading that, but he's just been average. I don't really feel like he's fallen off a cliff either.
EPL Appearances to record 3 hat tricks:This Haaland is a freak. Tiger Woods, Lebron, McDavid level.
He hasn’t had any real long time runs year. That’s probably why it feels that way. When I was a kid I remember watching Robert Smith break off long runs what seemed like every game. Just doesn’t feel like that happens as much anymore. Cook is a very good running back but he just doesn’t seem to break off long runs. Maybe that’s just how it feels. I haven’t looked at stats
Maybe it’s just time making it seem like Smith would make long runs also. I remember him having awesome top end speed when he got loose. He hasn’t had any real long time runs year. That’s probably why it feels that way.
Previous years he’d probably get about one good one a game.
When I saw this last night, I thought someone would've posted it by now. The 49ers just got a LOT better...
Anyone who has him, would be insane to give him up now for anything less than overpayment.Trying to acquire him in fantasy right now
Watch he'll get injured lolAnyone who has him, would be insane to give him up now for anything less than overpayment.
He does have that history in recent years...Watch he'll get injured lol

I have him in fantasy as and was curious what kind of offer youd send? I was wondering if Swift and Breece Hall is too much.I have the means to overpay
That’s far too much both can produce more than him. I’d offering a quality wr like tmac who should be heinekes fav target and a rb like cook for him. Cook is good not great and gets vultured too much. I’m currently trying to trade rape though I offered tmac and Benjamin after his big night so it looks good for themI have him in fantasy as and was curious what kind of offer youd send? Im not the best with trades one thing ive always struggled with over the years. But to me that doesnt seem like enough. Scary Terry has always been a lower end WR1 and Eno is only getting work now because James Conner and Darrell Williams are both hurt, so his time wont last long. If you can swing heck yes to you. That’s far too much both can produce more than him. I’d offering a quality wr like tmac who should be heinekes fav target and a rb like cook for him.
