A big game tonight against one of the more talented rosters in the NFC. Lets see how Kirk does under the night lights. Lets see how the offense does in the 2nd half this game, an offense sputtering in the 2nd half usually means the opposing team made some adjustments to our scheme, lets see if KOC can answer back.

The Jordan Davis vs Garrett Bradbury battle will be an interesting one to watch. From what ive read Philly defense was loads better when he was on the field.

That def time out late in the 2nd quarter is something that seems to do much more bad than good.

to be fairrrr our defense isnt good so i expected them to score but holy shite was our offense poop also...
There was definitely points left on the field due to turnovers. Wasn’t expecting that after Cousins was close to perfect in week 1.

he is cursed in prime time, it is hilarious at this point, what is he now 2-10? watching some of the replays he just stared down his first read and didnt even look elsewhere, i assume as he thought he had no time to but it just feels like vintage kirk. i believe one person called him a system qb and he certainly played like that last night, if the system doesnt work he looks bad. i was only able to watch most of it from my phone so i didnt see everything but he certainly looked afraid to throw into tight windows a couple times.

I think both lines are better than last year's, which is very good news. Secondary is scary, but we should be a better offensive team than this.

i saw at least 5 drops in the limited views i had. i dont care how bad the throw is if it hits you in the hands you should catch it but it looked a lot like everyone was trying to do too much once they got the S*** pushed in right away. Defense settled in but the offense never came to life.

Irv Smith was abysmal in this game, and drops all over the place. Basically a reverse of the Packer game where the drops killed all momentum in the first half and effectively ruined the offense.

yup. then a pick in the endzone to start the 3rd was a done deal. if we got a touchdown and got to 14-24 it could of been a good game.

I thought Kirk played fine. Not great. Not terrible. His receivers certainly did him no favors this game. The O-Line was spotty. Some times gave ample time. Other times I'm surprised Kirk even got the hike.

The 10 point swing at the end of the half was brutal. KOC had some HC mistakes too, Calling a timeout at the end of the half with like :27 seconds left IIRC should not of been called. He helped gift them that 3 points. KOC himself said he wanted the team to get punched in the face to see how we respond and well we did. Next week we have the Lions who arent the same old Lions as years past. Theyre building a good squad over there. Amon Ra about to go off. So thats not an easy win either, they can put up some points.

Why? We knew going into this that the Viking's secondary is terrible and a team with half a pulse in the passing game would give them fits. This was about as expected.
