I don't think anyone is disputing the pick.

The Lions can do well and the Vikings can also do well.

The players there at 12 would not have been of great benefit to us. The Vikings had to trade down to maximize what THEY wanted/needed.

The Vikings improved the value of their pick, PLUS got a player THEY had ranked in the teens at 32 in a spot that made much more sense.

The trade market for your pick is what other teams are willing to pay for it. If nobody else was willing to deal at that moment, it doesn't matter what "perceived" market is. They improved their value, that is what is most important.

If they would have taken Cine in the teens there would be outrage that they reached for the player. Guaranteed.

Well let’s say there’s 10 players who are all, more or less, the same talent level but different positions. Why not trade down and acquire more picks for someone you want, that’s at the same relative skill level?
and that never happens in the nhl????? hmmmmmm i call BS. (bs on posters who dislike need vs bpa)

Whatever you do don't look up the charges against Minnesota's guard they drafted. It might make you sick.

I’m sorry but Jesus f***ing Christ
Watson isn't going to get charged either. So, all of the accusers were lying?

In situations like these, it can be easy to dismiss or drop the case due to a variety of reasons but no one knows especially in this case as minors were involved.

Drafting someone this high with that kind of baggage is questionable at best.

The Booth pick was good and I liked the linebacker they picked up. Apparently KAM loves 2nd and 3rd round guys. Traded were weird but that's what you get with analytics. Green Bay trade was good. Colts one was meh but by that time it doesn't matter really. Thought they gave up too much but this team doesn't really need more 4th and 6th round players.

This draft was an embarrassment for the Vikings. Didn’t get nearly enough value in the first trade. At least should of kept 46. Then you make it worse by trading 34 to the Packers of all people and let them draft a WR. To make it even worse we trade up from 53 to 42 and give up a 3rd and a 6th to get a 4th. We reached big time on pick 59 and the 4th rounder. Don’t even get me started on today. I swear Kewsi just likes to trade because it reminds him of the stock market.

Booth Jr is a good pickup
That was kind of the saving grace of the moves made for me. I like Cine and Booth. I like Asamoah. That Ingram pick seems kinda sus, but saw he was really good in pass pro (per PFF).

All in all I would feel good about the draft haul if not for the fact that we passed on Hamilton, and we gave Detroit and GB picks to get very high upside WRs.

The only embarrassment was the guy that announced our first 2nd round pick.
