I believe if you go into settings you can set up so parental controls. I have no idea what these controls actually do as I’ve never gone into that tab but I know most systems have access to pin/password protected games and accounts. I’d assume Switch is the same.
Thanks I’ll look into the parental controls. Maybe I’ll be able to find a way to just password protect my account.

I hadn't really been keeping up on videogame news lately and completely missed that the story DLC for Xenoblade 3 dropped! This is a prequel to the game that is supposed to wrap up the entire Xenoblade trilogy with past characters heavily involved.

I cannot wait to dive into this. Reviews are amazing because of course they are. XC3 was easily my GOTY and Monolith Soft simply do not miss these days. Obviously Nintendo knows how good they are, they keep tapping Monolith Soft to help on all their biggest projects (Splatoon 3, Animal Crossing, BOTW2 most recently). But when they're not saving all of Nintendo's biggest games, they work on their own masterpiece, Xenoblade.

Time to finally finish my long Xenoblade journey on the Switch!

- Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition - 80 hours
- Future Connected DLC - 10 hours
- Xenoblade Chronicles 2 - 120 hours
- Torna: The Golden Country DLC - 35 hours
- Xenoblade Chronicles 3 - 140 hours
- Future Redeemed DLC - ?

I don't list those hours to scare people away, more to illustrate how much I fell in love with this series of games. I often have limited time to game but I would prioritize these games above pretty much anything.

I'm hoping to get into this series soon. Is there a best place to start? Should I go with Xenoblade Chronicles and go through that way.

So I started with Xenoblade Chronicles 2. At the time, the first game wasn't on the Switch. The first two games take place on different worlds and have almost no references to each other so they can really be played in either order.

If you're just getting into the series, it's possible you find the first Xenoblade Chronicles a little dated in some ways depending on your sensibilities, it is a remaster of a 2010 game. Personally I feel like the series has gotten better with each entry but that's not a sentiment shared by everyone. The second game took a lot of criticism for it's fan service, if big tiddy anime girls are bothersome to you, you might struggle with it. But in most aspects I do feel it's the better game. The third entry has big references to the first two games so that should definitely be played last.

Mario Odyssey 2 for Christmas this year. They got Pikmin 4 in July then nothing, and they said no new hardware before April 2024, soooooo
Got to think there is one more big Nintendo Title before we move on from the Switch. Mario makes sense.
