I want a new Fire Emblem game but I want it to go back to the more traditional format. I don’t want to be able to recruit every single person by Chapter 2.

Has anyone played Fire Emblem Warriors? I loved Three Houses but pretty much hate musou games so I'm torn.

It's an interesting alternate storyline but the combat is not really my cup of tea....that said, they do a modified take on a lot of the extras outside of combat. It's well done, but I can't get over the combat style personally.

However, I will say my wife is really into it, and she's not typically a fan of the style either.

So....50/50?

The kids and I gave the new courses a few playthroughs, worthy additions to the game.

I'm almost done with the seventh "chapter", I guess you can call it that, in Live A Live and they are very hit and miss. Some have little story, some have no battles, some are done in less than an hour while others are well over two hours. Interested in seeing what happens when I'm done with this last character chapter.

Really looking forward to this. One of my favorite old games (some of the best visual sensibilities in a sprite-based game, IMO), and a Final Fantasy Tactics remaster is sure to follow shortly.

It's weird, I seem to have the opposite first impression as others are. People are negative about the upscaling/fonts and positive about the voice acting, but I think the upscaling/fonts look great and the voice acting seems underwhelming (closer to the stilted Triangle Strategy performances than the surprisingly good FFT performances)

Just finished Xenoblade 3, and it is easily my game of the year at the moment.
... I'm going to have to go back and finish (Just restart probably) Xenoblade 2.

I take forever exploring in Xenoblade games and real life keeps getting in the way so I'm still early in Chapter 3, 15 hours in so far. Honestly I haven't liked the main cast as much as I did in say XC2, but I'm definitely digging the world. And I really want to get through the story before I'm spoiled because I'm really liking it. Already I'm starting to theorize how it connects with the first two games since there are definitely things overlapping and some recognizable returning characters.

I think the music is really interesting. There are a lot of stuff that doesn't sound very "Xenoblade" to me like the menu music, which feels more like something you'd hear in a Persona. Even something like "Everblight" almost sounds like John Carpenter with the heavy synths and atmosphere. I just heard "Elaice Highway" briefly which gave me goosebumps when I recognized it was a remix of a track from the first Xenoblade game.

Great game so far!

Anyone know how easy it is to change a battery on an OG Switch? Went to turn mine on for the first time in a couple months, wont turn on or charge up. Light blinks once when I plug the AC adapter in then nothing............

Doesn't look that bad:

edit: I watched another video. You can try a hard reset which is just holding the power button down for 12 (or was it 15?) seconds.

Playing through Shin Megami Tensei V again while I wait for Soul Hackers 2 to release this Friday.
Still a great game to play. I'll eventually beat it one day

Since my girlfriend moved in I've been playing the Switch in handheld more often. Well, before she moved in I never played handheld. But the grip kills my hands.

Any suggestions? I'm looking at buying the Hori Split Pad Pro.

I'll occasionally play with the pro controller and use the kickstand and set it on a desk or table, only did true handheld mode a few times as I found it uncomfortable as well
