Just let me talk about the two best players in the NHL this season. Take your problems to someone else.
I would venture a guess that Kucherov is as important to the Lightning as MacKinnon is to us. I don't think that is even a question. He is the brightest spot of their season.
Tampa fans get real salty when they are confronted with evidence of Kuch being an empty net merchant. I love it
I do love people using Kucherov being so far ahead of his teammates as an example. Tampa has much deeper scoring than Colorado. Yes, Mikko and Makar are superstars. And Nichushkin is better than his point total this year. But the drop off in scoring after Mikko and Makar is huge while Tampa has been much better balanced. Tampa has 5 players over 70 points this year (Kuch, Point, Stamkos, Hedman, Hagel) while Colorado has three (MacK, Rantanen, Makar). I'd say at the most the scoring has been about a wash teamwide for both squads. The talent around Kucherov is not so drastically inferior that it should be used to prop him up. Will be a close race either way.

Mcdavid is a great player. It’s the fan base that most can’t stand, smug, over the top.
Most Edmonton fans get upset when mcdavids name isn’t mentioned. Like everything NHL related has to be about him. It gets old

You can't reason with people who believe certain players are "winners' and it's not just a matter of the crazy stacked teams they have played on.
