Nah, Taylor.Hall won the Hart a few years ago, so whoever lost out that year deserves it - obviously.

In your opinion. However the players see it as important. As they often refer to it. And imo it’s indicative of a player’s contribution without the puck. And the mvp should be more than just points. So add points and plus/minus. Doing this helps determine the D who contribute at both ends of the ice too.
So incredible its never been done before.
Not just my opinion. +/- also depends on how good your linemates are. It's not an individual stat at all.

Kucherov takes the ross + hart and should get lindsay
This year moves him 1 season away from a better peak+prime than Crosby/OV/Malkin group and only behind Mcdavid since his breakout
Seperates him from federov, patty kane, Datsyuk, forsberg, lindros etc by a large margin
He might just end the best russian ever and top 10ish player all time if he can put 1 more season like this + 2-3 additional top 10 player in the league seasons

No definitely I just think every other NHL player is dumb.
Most of the players don't make that move on the defender like that on the first one
As of right now, the only players to ever hit 100 assists are literally the best three players in history (depending where you rank Howe). McDavid will almost certainly enter that group, and, honestly, I believe he's on that tier.
Kucherov isn't on that tier, but my God, what a season.
