Horrific call. If this is not a push from Seguin there are no pushes in hockeyView attachment 597010.
If the rule was whether he pushed the goalie, you’d have an excellent point….

He pushed Marner into Samsonov as you can see by the image I posted. If the rule was whether he pushed the goalie, you’d have an excellent point….
That it was. Only time it got loud was during those "make noise" encouraged moments.I was also at the game. The crowd was dead.
Put Mathew’s between them, then you got 2 first lines. Bunting, Tavares, Marner the other.a kerfoot nylander robertson line might be interesting... although maybe a bit too small
How soft is this team that it trained us to think that was a hard push. It was a goal 100% zero controversy around it.Horrific call. If this is not a push from Seguin there are no pushes in hockeyView attachment 597010.
Leafs first goal was a perfect example of what I've been saying.
Tavares messes up the PP twice. As soon as he is off, Jarnkrok does what the center is supposed to do - screen the goalie. This allows a good shot from the defence, the goalie loses sight of the puck, and we score.
I think the comment I heard the most in the game was 'Tavares loses the puck'.
They really have to get JT away from Robertson and Nylander.
Robertson - Kerfoot - Nylander or
Robertson - Nylander - Jarnkrok
Tavares with Kerfoot/Jarnkrok/Engvall/Malgin would be a good third line.
I'd prefer to keep the Matthews line together, as we know they will be deadly once they find their groove.
Welcome to 33rd floor of any office tower in downtown. That it was. Only time it got loud was during those "make noise" encouraged moments.
I would argue it has been Nylander but a case could be made for JT.This is absurd.
Tavares has been our best forward so far
It was clearly the correct call.He pushed Marner into Samsonov as you can see by the image I posted.
I’m open to reuniting JT and Marner. Ppl forget that in 18-19 our top line of Hyman-Tavares-Marner was one of the best lines in franchise history.Imagine Robbie-AM-Willie on a line together. We would actually have three guys who can score on the same line.
Reunited JT and MM then add Bunting, that’s a pretty good line too.
Marner is incredibly annoying, agreed. He was my favorite player almost instantly when we got him (and I still love him when he plays like he can) but that attitude ... easily the most punchable face on the team. Easily!Marner being a slow starter is his own fault. Tavares needs to drag this guy out of bed in summer and take him to the gym.
It is annoying how unphased Marner is by all the losses (playoffs). I don't care that he's not down on it, I care that Eye of the Tiger theme song isn't playing through his head 24/7 because of it. This isn't a hobby dude, eat breathe sleep it.
Robertson | Matthews | Nylander |
Bunting | Tavares | Marner |
Malgin | Kerfoot | Jarnkrok |
Engvall | Kampf | ZAR/NAK |
Picked him up when Murray when down, but left him on the bench this week cuz Keefe didn't wanna play him vs the yotes.Anyone else rush to add Robertson to their fantasy team?
Gotta give that punchable face credit when credit is due - Mitch shot the puck extremely well last season.[TABLE=collapse]

Thoughts? I want to see AM with another elite shooter - defenders are cheating while defending him, but Mitch and Bunts can't beat a goalie with their shots.
