The coach said at the start of the year that this wouldn't be the case this season and so far, it isn't. After 3 games, he is the 5th most used forward and Monahan is 11 seconds behind him. Evans and RHP lead the way for forwards with almost double Suzuki's SH time and Ylonen is up there as well. Pearson is only a few seconds ahead. I am assuming that most of his SH time is due to the crazy amount of penalties the Habs have taken in these games. I also assume that once DVO is back he will get a heathy chunk of Suzuki's SH minutes.I dont know why hes the main PK option. Its so stupid.
Theres only one center ahead of him.The coach said at the start of the year that this wouldn't be the case this season and so far, it isn't. Thing to remember with him as well, he’s a streaky player. The pendulum swings both ways. He’ll heat up.Underwhelming at best to start the season but I won't count him out just yet. I don't think he's injured he just needs to be better
So it turns out you read a press release......one that any leader would put out instead of making excuses. All he said was he wasn't at his best. Read into it what you choose to beat your drum n agenda.View attachment 756513
Interesting. So it turns out, to my surprise, Nick Suzuki didn't need fans and media to make excuses for him and blame a mysterious secret illness or injury for his underperformance.
Suzuki must feel lucky he has commentators like you to come and throw mud in the air on his behalf. So it turns out you read a press release......one that any leader would put out instead of making excuses. There is always more to the story. I'll leave it at that. You know best......he was showing leadership in that quote was all, no excuses. But if it validates your opinion.....cool.
apparently we all saw the same thing on that play....that play at the end of the game when he stood along the boards and just waited for the puck instead of skating to it, is his season in a nutshell so far. he could have gotten the loose puck instead a devils player skate up and takes it. that's pure laziness
It looked like vintage Drouin.apparently we all saw the same thing on that play....
In his defense, I think he was at the end of his shift, he was visibly out of energy.
Haha, people like me. So typical hehe.Suzuki must feel lucky he has commentators like you to come and throw mud in the air on his behalf.
A simple notion like ‘Don’t speculate that a player is playing through injury in October’ is now a bad thing, it’s an agenda thing.
People like you just don’t want any one to ever criticize the Habs in any way, even simple comments like “he didn’t play well”.
It’s so typical.
Suzuki should play better. There isn’t an agenda behind this comment — I like the idea of this player very much and had high hopes for him. If he can’t elevate his game this early in the season, it’s a problem but I’m certain he will get over it.
It’s not a generic line, it’s the permanent go-to line whenever Suzuki plays below expectations. Everybody in the commentary space defaults to “hidden injury”. It’s inexplicable.Haha, people like me. So typical hehe.
No your decorating about me
....cause i dont share your speculation i dont want anyoneto ever criticize the Habs? Thats quit the reach on your part. I dont mind criticism at all, in fact I appreciate a balance, honest POV and posters. Tpo far either way can be frustrsting to read.
I never said anything about an injury.
You used a generic make no excuses line into validating you are right about what's going. Your speculating lol.
He will get over it, I think and no he hasn't been great yo start.
And sometimes people who live in London, and were involved in.......aahhhh why bother.
I didn't. So not everyone. It’s not a generic line, it’s the permanent go-to line whenever Suzuki plays below expectations. Everybody in the commentary space defaults to “hidden injury”. It’s inexplicable.
Why do you associate Suzuki’s slow start to Caufield?Suzuki got paid 10 mil last year and is getting another 10 mil the next 2 seasons, of course he had a fun summer with a long offseason and incredibly deep pockets. I doubt he and Caufield cared very much about hockey
Because it fitted his agenda. Why do you associate Suzuki’s slow start to Caufield?
Caufield has a good start to the season despite Suzuki sleeping.
Caufield looks good to you? He'll always be able to score when he's healthy, especially at 3v3 or vs the Leafs defense. Why do you associate Suzuki’s slow start to Caufield?

He is not the one unable to receive or complete a pass, that’s for sure.Caufield looks good to you? He'll always be able to score when he's healthy, especially at 3v3 or vs the Leafs defense.
Maybe it his linemates fault but he is unnoticeable for most of his shifts, hemmed in the defensive zone, unable to touch the puck, and unable to complete or receive a pass in the offensive zone
