Sukuki is (almost) Captain material. Could be Edmundson for a couple of seasons, though.

Henrik Borgstrom not qualified. Sam Steel not qualified. Gabriel Vilardi on track to bustville. Cody Glass already busted. Kyrou and Thomas turned out great though. For the most part everyone Bergy touched bases on when trading Patches and got rejected for landed us Nick. Things really worked out well, we're probably a few weeks from this kid being named captain.

I think Nick will be in the 65-75 point range. I think Caufield will be in the 85-90 point range. Cole is going to be a star in this league.

Gallagher still gets shit on. I think he returns to 25g + gally.

He's done, like his hairline

Don't forget Cody Glass is the player Bergy insisted on for patches and Vegas demanded we take Suzuki lol. Competing idiots at the healm on both sides

Read the whole thread..pretty funny stuff 😂😆

LOL you're right that wasn't bad ,
I was looking for that perfect one and "Nick Suzuki 1st NHL penalty shot except its NHL 94" was close
"Arturi Lehkonen sends Montreal to the Stanley Cup Final except its Nick Suzuki's 1st NHL penalty shot" was REAL close lmao
But the "Nick Suzuki's 1st NHL penalty shot except it's his Game 5 OT Winner vs the leafs" was LOL

apparently one of the worst contract in the NHL.... lmao
what clown wrote that again?
Suzuki isn't even top 20 in terms of cap hits...what a horrible take that was, not to mention those types of contracts are to gain value later on in the in the future, not necessarily immediately.

Click bait article. Can't be anything else

Bold to say Caufield will have more points than Suzuki but I like the stance. Hard to bet against either of them and I think both will be in the 60-80 pts range.

I also think Gallagher rebounds. So will others like Armia, Drouin, Hoffman, Dvorak, Dadonov, Byron. One is likely traded though to clear cap. However, whoever is left will have better seasons. Got to stay away from injuries piling up. Centers are better this year vs last year IMO. Suzuki is better, Dvorak is better if he plays a full season, Evans is still improving, and Dach is in MSL hands so I do expect him to jump forward a bit in development.

A clown from Ontario. Suzuki on the list but Tavares and Norris is not? Go figure.

He likely looked at Suzuki's $10M salary this year as his justification.

23 years old Suzuki. Still pretty young for Habs future, that's a really good news. In 2 years... MTL will have a better team and this guy will turn 25 years old, he is going to be a beast at this moment of his career... still going to have 10 great years in him, two-way beast, point per game producer, for sure.

Bergevin isn't perfect, but trading Pacioretty for this guy... is a massive win. Thanks god Vegas wanted keep Cody Glass instead Nick Suzuki in that trade lol.

Vintage Suz

Wow, you tend to forget how dominant was his playoff performance... this is what it's all about for these young players sometimes, and it is a great opportunity for them to step up as key performers, and having to carry their squad now in & out.

By watching this video, and what he has accomplished in the NHL so far in his young career, I don't think we should worry about his potential as 1C, and should be focusing on getting high-end pieces at D, and identify our next #1 G.

Not sure why you brought those players up or what they have to do with Suzuki
Dont think Norris was extended before that list was made and Tavares is owed alot less money. could also think of a worse contract thats part of your team.... you know Price but thought of Tavares first eh lol

As a fan, we are lucky to have locked on long term in Mtl. Best player since a long time ago. Especially his intelligence on the ice, is elite level. Rarely make mistakes. Good shot on PP. and always make the right play

He is way more impressive than Shane Wright in OHL.

Even Kirby Dach skillset looks more impressive in WHL than Shane Wright in OHL.
Suzuki was 2 years older than Wright in these playoffs.

Dach wasn't even a ppg (0.8 ppg) in the only year his team went to the playoffs (his 3rd WHL season), Wright was 1.27 ppg.

People should wait a little longer before shitting on Wright, being draft 4th instead of 1st means nothing at the end of the day.

If you read the actual article, it's clear that he generates the list by using his GameScore mathematical model, or whatever he calls it. He is also quite clear with explaining that the contract probably doesn't belong there, that it is likely due to the 'Ducharme Effect', and that if he is close to producing the same amount as he did under MSL, he will not be on that list next year.

The management will do nothing wrong crowd will support every decision management makes, whether it’s this group, marc Bergevin and co etc etc. they feel protective of the team and by extension the management of the team. I trust Hugo more than anyone since Gainey, but let’s wait and see what they do before we blindly defend every decision they make.
