Before, he was considered as the worst NHL contract...

Now, he's considered as one of the best NHL contract...

The hypocrisy...

Everything said about the Habs from outsiders, is assume to be the worse until it is not. That's how our team is perceived from most other fans and media.

I think we are ready to make some noise this season. Right in the heat of things with the Wings, Sens, and Sabres. Most have us behind them but I don't.

Just remember folks. We gave up Pacioretty for Suzuki+. It was a good trade then and an amazing trade now. I've been high on Suzuki since he was a prospect, but he's better now than I ever imagined. Not every game will be great, but he's such a great fit to lead our team and would be great on any team.
I'm noticing Suzuki is doing a lot more of the little things to improve his over all game.
I like it when he gets mad and starts throwing some hits around.

Too bad he isn't mad all the time but I can't say I blame him given we are so nowhere.
We've seen he doesn't hold back when it comes to the post season.

The only thing right now is he extends his shifts too often and gets plucked when he's tired.
Hard to fault him too much when the bulk of our offense is tied directly to his play whether it shows on the scoresheet or not.

From the outside...man the hate runs deep. Most fans of hockey absolutely despise the habs, and really the leafs. Both with the most history and the biggest fanbases.

Some of the takes, are absolutely comical from fans of other teams. When I read guys saying Suzuki was way overpaid, you just have to laugh, and laugh some more.

I rarely take anything serious coming from the main boards on here, there are awful takes where they haven't even watched the team, and comments are based on pure hate.

Perspective right now for the habs, is huge. 2nd youngest team in the league, learning how to play under a coach, who thinks everyone has his hockey IQ. Growing pains should be expected.....what most of us don't like, is being out of games 8 minutes into the 1st period by 4 goals.
When it didn't have to happen, if the coach was more seasoned.............MSL has a huge hand in the two losses to the Rangers, and The Kraken.
Take out those two lopsided BS losses, and all in all, we are where most of us felt we would be heading to November.

Why? Hell you take out all our losses we would be leading the league.

I thought he was brutal last night.

Just slow and making soft plays all over, most likely due to spending so much time in his own end.

Might be playing too much.

Hopefully Dach can get it together soon and go back to playing C. That will help.
