Yeah, but the point of my post was that the team appears to be supporting him. And until there is more known, I don't see the point in jumping to worse case scenarios. That's nothing close to rainbows and unicorns.

When you put all together, it doesn't sound like casual helping of a fellow countryman.

Why would he be in trouble if that was the case? And second why would she be so drunk if he helped her? I assume this happened also middle of the night?

Seems way too sketchy

Never say 100% but this case doesn't sound good.

Escorts are around professional athletes all the time. It's not talked about, but it's probably at least as prevalent as things like cocaine. I wouldn't be surprised if he hired a Russian girl for companionship while he was out of town, he certainly has the money to burn for an expensive escort.

The real question we don't know is what did she do to herself while she was with him, whether it was drugs or booze, and why whatever it is that happened means he can't play. Like I said, it's not uncommon for sex workers to be around sports stars while they're on the road, that probably isn't the big scandal here. There's still a lot we don't know here.

Just opens the door for more ridiculous speculation and theories from people who are incapable of keeping quiet and letting it all play out.

Awesome stuff really.

No, we really should not speculate about shit we don't know anything about, regarding a personal matter.

Absolutely not.

If you are public person who makes millions playing for a team, happens to skip playoff games out of nowhere.. there is no privacy or private matters in this case. It just how the world is.

Fans will speculate what the hell happened. It's very uncommon.

I guess I should have said why don't you posts insights from it. Its a disgraceful organization that fired good people in the name of private equity profit. Its about as strong a journalistic organization as the New York Post. There, is that better?
If you really wanted to bash the Denver Post, you'd want to compare then to the New York Times.

We know more and more details by the day… and they fit the most widely held theories. I haven’t been on here, but Twitter was all over don’t discuss the police incident… can’t be related. Guess what, it was related and people just looking into it found the incident before any reporter touched it (also props to Dater).

Also personal issue is a ruse. Nuke is a public figure and major part of a sports team contending for a title. Any personal action a person takes in a public position that results in their absence is subject to investigation… as it should be.

You’re acting like Saint Val went to the aid of an ill family member. That’s obviously not what happened here.

He’s a famous athlete. If he’s going to allow things like this to happen, why shouldn’t they be public?

On HF? An article like that comes out and no one is gonna talk about it? In what world would that happen?

Talk about the article, don't speculate beyond the information given in the article.

But you are right which was exactly my point originally. It's just opened the door for more wild speculation and theories from embarrassing individuals.

The article is a paint by numbers picture that hasn't been colored in though.

Look at how secretive Colorado is usually about their players. This is a big case because it's getting uncovered. Nobody even knew what was going on with Byram or Landy. It's insane to me really. As a fan, I feel like I should have some knowledge when the players might come back from an injury.

That's how things usually works with Colorado. Hush about the issue and nobody will even care to ask again. This is too big case to ignore and be hush hush.

Makar waking up:

Val where's my car?

He's not in trouble. There's no criminal investigation or pending charges. Bednar said it's not disciplinary reasons.

Player missing few crucial playoff games because random woman was found in his room totally drunk and no disciplinary reasons.

Hmmmmm

Don't believe it, but again our coach or organisation never tells the whole truth. They are masters at hiding.

I am calling a bluff here. Let's see.
