That didn't age well.Off to the MC. Hoping for another big victory. It would be cool if another Dog gets a hat trick.
Go Dogs and Go Bills.
Niagara was not getting any of the top-rated players with his first pick to report; so he did what he had to, go the defect route with the most valuable player available.Sam Dickinson is not a good example to support DD drafting or recruitment ability.
This has been mentioned several times before on this site. DD selected Dickinson in a prearranged deal to draft him and trade him to London. DD was told exactly the player he had to select in the 1st round, if he wanted his first pick to report.
This was a situation where Hunter got DD to do what he wanted.
LOL. You’re wrong again!Niagara was not getting any of the top-rated players with his first pick to report; so he did what he had to, go the defect route with the most valuable player available.
I mean he is right, those 4 guys all made brutal mistakes that directly lead to breakaways. Czata on the first one too.Coach Ben: Quick to praise and quick to criticize
Ethan Czata:
“I want to shout it from the mountaintops,” Boudreau said. “I don’t care about the goals and the assists, in a draft year at that moment down 5-0 to step up on home ice and do that I think is just absolutely incredible. It says so much about his character, about how much he cares and what he’s willing to do for his teammates regardless of the score. I think that will get him more notice outside of his offensive ability.” Boudreau added. “To be honest, I wish there was a whole team full of guys that cared and played like that.”
Defense:
IceDogs coach Ben Boudreau went straight to the point when asked about the game. Boudreau lamented watching the same mistakes over and over. “Yeah, six of them (mistakes) to be very specific, all the exact same way,” he said. “I think everybody was guilty — (Darcy) Dewatcher, Chinner (Callum Cheynowski) and Scotty (Blair Scott) and (Matthew) Virgilio.”
