I brought this up to a few people at the home opener and I have a feeling it will end up happening Sens move the AHL to Hamilton and the bulls come back when they move Brampton again
There is a group waiting to bring an OHL team back to Belleville as soon as the Sens move if they do leave which is most likely the case in 2027.
The owner of World Elite hockey academy is a very wealthy man in the area behind it.

The hard core fans know the truth but you’d be surprised how many fans that go to the games don’t know things that people on here or even the old icedog board would be able to tell you in a second
Exactly my point. The lost STHs and hard core fans are not reading this fluff piece praising and thanking DDD for saving our IceDogs. He is going to have to do a lot more than this story to win back those fans.

DDD declaration today that they’re never leaving Niagara was never his decision to make.

Andlauer commits to staying in Brantford. Bulldogs owner Michael Andlauer doesn't see the team returning to Hamilton now that Brantford has proven to be a perfect fit.

This isn’t for those fans it’s for the casual fan that still thinks he might go which there is more of than you think based on what I hear at the arena talk about game after game

There were games last year with fewer people.
I’m used to that with the fronts- not watching other teams (besides The steelheads lol)

Another big win for the dogs. Unreal. Group is looking good. Also a few years out but this looks good for their memorial cup chances- we know Kitchener and you guys are in it but if you keep growing like this and it’s a good location you may give Kitchener a run for its money

5-4 OT comeback W they definitely deserved that one refs were something else tonight

Now we have the big 3rd period comeback to win. This team is FOR REAL.

Kevin He with those rockets. Wow.

Guessing there was just over 2000 people in the building. A couple of large groups in the corner and the cameras may not have shown them much.

Not a chance we get it I don’t even think the team will be near good enough in a few years

They’re doing pretty good now aren’t they? They won’t keep this up but it’s a good glimpse into the future. 2 years down the road who’s to say they won’t be way better?
They’re doing great so far definitely better then I expected them to at this point I was just judging it based on who could be on the team and who’s going to be the one making moves for that team

We are now ... 6 -1. The only team that has only lost once. We have now had a big comeback win. We have the leagues leading scorer. First place in the Division. First place in the Conference and second place in the League.

Makes total sense that London is 8 places in front of us in the OHL power rankings. :thumbd:

Would Musty fit your team? Maybe not the years.

Unless the IceDogs are willing to trade Wassilyn and/or Crete this year or next, they will have a difficult time adding the minimum 3 players of Musty’s caliber needed to open their window next year (they are still not properly set up for 26-27), with a draft cupboard that looks like this…

DRAFT CAPITAL
25: - , 3, 4, 4
26: 2, 3, 4
27: 2, 3, 4, 4
28: 2, 3, 4

Holy crap I’ve never seen it so empty there why is nobody there today?
I was surprised and not surprised by all the empty seats. On one hand, there is the depleted STH fan base that is evident in all those empty seats of the sections they normally occupied in the past. On the other hand, Rod Mawhood welcomed about 20 church groups to the game but other than one or two of them, they were not physically visible in any of the normal group sections.
🤷🏻‍♂️
