WTF is going on...Alec Leonard, a 2nd and a 3rd for an overager and a 12th! I was hoping the sh@t was over but looks like its beginning again! Papias must have wanted out but I would have let him leave the team or trade him for more, if possible.

I feel for u guys. NIA has one of the better fan bases in the league & the past few seasons have been such a gongshow.

Maybe this guy has some master plan, but currently he looks like a guy who hasn't a clue how to properly GM a team & it's gonna set you back years.

Our new owner has to pony up for a gm or he is going to lose the fan base. I know a lot of people who will not renew next year if a new GM, with OHL experience, is not hired...and I don't mean Joey Burke...lol!

Leonard was not impressive what’s so ever. I think everyone needs to be patient and see what happens. This shows that the owner cares and is trying to improve the team.

agreed on that, i think he is a very one way guy who lacks sense. 2nd round pick but a bad pick by a bad scouting staff.

even then, including him in with the trade is just silly, it should have cost way less with a body included.

They traded a 3rd and a 4th to get Papais. Play him 6 games and ship him out for a 5th. LIKE WHAT?
They think the grass is greener on the other side - this isn’t EA NHL franchise mode..

And can I get you to admit now that Juan Copeland is going to be really good? So when they trade him for not nearly enough in a month then you can’t say you don’t care because he never impressed you lol

Listen we are 6 games in let’s just not jump the gun.
New team who need systems and chemistry.

Joey Burke was not bad has GM.
