and i've said this a few times here already.. IF we really do get 8.9M for a CDN team vs a small market team. Imagine had it been NYR/CHI, or BOS/CHI in this same scenario.. I would say easily 11.9M for this gm7.

That's only 3M more than this lousy matchup.

So we're looking at 14/15M overall for North America for game 7. Really good. Looking for some more numbers in Wikipedia. This game 7 is only behind 2011 SCF game 7 for most watched NHL game ever in Canada (since data tracks from 2009) and at 7.5M is a bit higher than:

• SCF 2011 game 6 - Canucks v Bruins at 7.5M (could be a bit higher thus over last night game but the page says exactly 7.5).
• SCP 2021 second round game 6 & 7 - Canadiens v Maple Leafs at 7.3/7.4M respectively.
• SCP 2014 second round game 7 - Canadiens v Bruins at 7.2M.
• SCP 2010 second round game 6 - Canadiens v Penguins at 6.9M.
