There should be 2 feeds: "national" & French. (Too bad about that; I hate those "national" broadcasts instead of the local LA feed.)

If they indeed no longer broadcast pregame, intermission & post-game shows this season, I'll be complaining. :mad: What's the use of showing an empty screen for 17 straight minutes in between periods?

Works fine here. Try logging off, then back in, etc.
 
So as a Canadian with a Roku TV and no cable am I just not able to watch hockey this year? What kind of shit is this,.

It should be working. I watched both games live and can access both replays on my phone (android) and my laptop.

Only thing missing still is a proper android tv app as casting isn't working either.

FYI. Quality was terrible for both games, but I think it's from the source. Hoping to see much better quality tonight with the north American games.

Well, it only works on my pc.

Everytime I try watching it on the app it tells me I supposedly don't have a subscription for it even though everytime I look under my account it states I have a year long subscription.

I guess we're back to watching stuff on our computers because they can't get their sh** together and present us a useless app at this point....

Sorry to hear it's not working for you. I just tried again. It did ask me to sign back in, which is annoying, but I was able to play both SJS-NSH games from the past weekend without any issues.

I don't like the new layout though. I prefer the calendar with daily games listed. Too much cr@p on the screen right now.

Will try downloading the app on my tablet later. Going away next week so hoping it will work and I can catch some early morning Live hockey
 
I'm watching the Tampa - NYR game on NHL.tv and the picture quality is pretty bad. Not smooth at all, very pixelated, blurry. The digital ads on the boards are also a huge eye sore. :/

Is the game working for you? All I see on nhl.Tv is the commercial break. Timeline only shows about 15 minutes and the game is currently in the 2nd period. Not happy.
 
Working for me now as well. Definitely a step backward this year.

Is there a way to start a live game from the beginning? I can't find that option anywhere other than starting the game and dragging the timeline bar to the start. This game doesn't even have the first period. Like wtf is this?
 
Useless app.
Watch first game fine.
Second game keeps saying i need to subscribe.
Logged out and back in multiple times. It shows my subscription when I log in but won’t let me watch.
How can they screw this up every year.

I'm getting the same thing. Both games had issues tonight. Can't even watch the replay of the tbl/nyr game as it crashes after the first period.

Need to start getting complaints in right away. Really regretting buying this year.

Is it just early going glitch time, or are we truly not getting in between period broadcast content? Why would NHL.TV not offer the in between period broadcast bits? I'll be pretty disappointed if this is part of the new subscription moving forward.

It's basically working for me like it does for you.
I can watch the L.A. vs Vegas game there.

I can watch on my computer/laptop but the App is not working meaning that it's like back in 2005 for me, when I watched stuff on my computer while something like an app wasn't available.

I hope they fix that cause I'm not interested in having paid over 100 euros for crap like that.

BTW: On the app(Fire TV Stick) both games of tonght aren't even shown anymore right now if you're searching on that calendar.

I don't think so. I really couldn't jump back at all.
 
This is just horrific. Was trying to watch the Ranger vs Lightning game on my PC and it showed 2:40:04 in total length. Was watching the first period and was able to skip through the commercial breaks in 10 second steps. But after the first period the whole thing just crashed. The timeline was gone and it took me directly to the game highlights. I was unable to skip back, the game was just gone. The same happened on different browsers, so this is definitely not a browser thing. That basically means I cannot watch the games on a PC or laptop.

In short: Whenever I skip anywhere beyond period one on the timeline, the whole game crashes and it takes me to the game highlights. This thing is just one huge bug. Sorry NHL, this is just terrible.
 
NHL dropped the ball here. Should have committed serious resources or stuck with BAMTECH. A top tier sports league should have an excellent streaming app in this day and age without a question.

We go from watching 4k on Netflix, Disney, etc. to this. Hurts my eyes.
