Yep, but honestly unless they get Leafs first round, my goal and hope Sweeney’s goal, is to see how these guys handle playoffs. If they can’t step up then you know what you need to get this off season with a good chunk of cap space

Getting a broken back Maroon and a terminally scratched 3rd pairing guy just seems like they made no moves in reality.

Perspective. After losing Hall Bergeron Krejci Orlov Bertuzzi and with no cap space, I was expecting a fight for the wildcard seed. They’re here. “Playing with house money”. I’ll enjoy the playoffs sans heavy expectations.

After this summer with their cap space, I’ll expect the team going into 2024-25 season will be a wagon
