RHD is tough to find. Kid blocks shots. Hard to carry Forbot on LHD where they are so common. We've been trotting Shattenkirk's last legs out there, and he generally has no business being on the ice in the 3 period of a game with the Bruins ahead, which puts pressure on the whole unit

And the Bruins have nothing in the system close to ready to challenge for that spot

I don't think Peeke is very good, but the bruins pro scouting has been damn near perfect the past few years with all their signings so I'm cautiously optimistic that they see something worthwhile there. Get him off the Jackets and onto a real team and lets see what happens.

He's not.

He'll throw the body and he will block shots. He handles the puck like a grenade in the DZ and OZ. But, he is a good kid and a good skater for his size. If you can make him round out his puck handling abilities to be subpar, he will be an everyday third pairing guy just from his skating and willingness to play physical.
