This move for Peeke could be a really good one for Boston. He brings something lacking on the right-side. He's only 25. Get him into the Bruins collapsing zone D-style and maybe he gets back to his game.

He may come here and revive his career that stalled out a bit in Columbus and be a nice player.

If say come the end of 2024-25 he didn't work out, if they take the full cap hit from CBJ, a buy-out at that point is a mere 900k the following two years.

Forbort's time here must be up IMO. Cap if being freed up somewhere.

Problem is LTIR has to be the rest of the year for it to matter. They last thing they can do is put someone on LTIR to make space and then bring the back in early april
