They don't want to trade Jake and Linus. There's no market for Forbort. And they need Gryz for the run.

There is no magical fountain of cap space. We're as tight as you can be. So we can't do much more. It can be that simple.

This Bruins team took the Leafs and Oilers to the brink, or pasted them. Donnie likes what he's got in a TRANSITION YEAR.

I think I'm on board with Middleton being the white whale at this deadline after seeing Wothespoon get smoked by Bertuzzi last night. Middleton is an actual good defender that can go with the best of them, go get him.
He is signed through next season at 2.45.He will be pricy but I like his game too.

Last I heard was they were circling back but didn't look likely. I don't know how this can be related because they could have retained in Middleton.

However, Middleton has one more year and maybe the Wild didn't want to retain on the second year.

But this would still require another move to create cap space for Middleton
Spitballing bur a signed jake to minny for Middelton do it

We should just try to add Gryz and retain the difference on him. He's gonna be odd man out anyway.

If you can get Coyle to play with an edge like last night, he immediately becomes so much more valuable in your top 6. He's a strong, strong dude and when he wants to lay into you, you're going to feel it. Frederic will be there too.

I would like to see an addition to the defense with some snarl.

You guys crying over bringing someone in to be good in the room, act as a deterrent for the shit Toronto tried to pull last night, give us some moxie and a bit of nail vs hammer all for virtually no value going out absolutely baffle me

It’s a great move, and my guess is 90% of you bellyaching will be cheering the loudest when he brings some Bruin back to Boston

My dawg.

Barabanananananov looks like he would be a Jake replacement.

He's more of a complimentary player who can play up and down the line-up. He's a bit like Heinen in that regard (but different style of player than Heinen).

Always reminded me a bit like Bertuzzi.

They need Gryz to be cheering from the press box after he inevitably gets healthy scratched again?

100 % agree , he will quickly become a favorite

You're kinda just describing DeBrusk this season though too, no?

Idea being if DeBrusk goes, this is a potential cheaper replacement that gives the Bs some wiggle room to make one more more on D
