Doesn’t it give them the option(cap space) to bring up any player from Prov. If Maroon is on the active roster during the rest of the regular season.

If he could teach him just to use his size and not get tagged. It's hard to just get a player to flip a switch and all of a sudden be that guy, but if he can just teach him how to lock a guy out and not die, that would be good.

The lightning retained him from 1mil down to 800k when they traded him to the Wild, don't believe the Wild are retaining him at all in the trade to us though

That would make sense. I'd love to see them add Barabanov outright but forget about the cap problems. I was hoping they could add him and keep Debrusk by moving out money on the back end (Forbort ideally).

They have to place Maroon on LTIR to be cap compliant. Right now, they are over the cap without him on LTIR
