Poor Edmonton fans. They lose Larsson, who chose to take the same money and term to join an expansion team rather than stay on the team with the best player in the world, and they’re going to hand out the worst contact of the last few years to Hyman, all in a 24 hour period. With the terrible management going on there it kinda feels like the topic of McDavid leaving is more a question of when instead of if.

I guess the 'Canes and Nedelkovic really were that far apart on a contract. Good news for the rest of the metro, I guess? Still seems cheap as hell, given that Bernier is a UFA.

It does take one of the better goalies off the UFA market, assuming Bernier and the 'Canes come to a deal. Open the door to Mrazek staying in Carolina as well.
