Some injury concerns? He has played 34 games in the past two years. If Kuzy is traded we need a center coming back, McMichael is not NHL ready.

I've said this before. Its more likely a two move process. The team getting Kuzy is needing a center and won't one to send back. The center would come from a different source.

My read now is that Kuzy wont be traded

Ideally Sammy would pan out to become another vasilevsky

The lightning gave up on bishop and dealt him to give v the job full-time

Also this just shows you how far washington is from another cup run. Tampa stocked up on talent and fair or not won 2 cups in a row. Washington doesn't have close to that level of talent. No guys like maroon or v or good row or the guy who scored today

Tampa winning 2 in a row makes me more upset about the direction the Capitals went from 2010 to 2014. Washington had a winning formula and decided to scrap it because of a few playoff disappointments. Tampa, on the other hand, doubled down on their winning strategy after several playoff disappointments and were rewarded for it.

Good for Tampa.

Good for Vasi. Showed who is the real #1 goalie in the world today regardless of what some pricks among GMs say.

Tough break for Kucherov but he can't complain. These are back to back scoring races won in the playoffs. Vasi deserved the CS more.

What an epic press conference. No f***ing prisoners.

If the Caps had more pressers like this, I would fully support the people who quote them like the Bible

See, and I genuinely hope it's the reason their loophole gets closed. This is basically the boldest "we got away with it, f*** you" outside of the GM just laying it all out on the table.

Some pretty cowardly "daddy's money" showboating out there talking shit about Habs fans celebrating a win in Montreal for daring to play against an unfair team, f*** you.

2010 to 2014? What "direction" and "winning formula" are you talking about? When we had no clear #1 goaltender (Theodore, Vokoun, Neuvirth, then Holtby) and Oates and Hunter as coaches?

I think every Caps fan is disappointed with those years for many reasons.
