Yeah that is pretty up front and brazen to name the GM like that. Can't remember a public mutiny targeting the GM. Coaches sure, but not the GM.

So lava hasn't lost the room in NY.
I hated Lavi here but let's be honest, he is a pretty successful coach overall.
Guessing much of it traces back to Drury publicly putting several players' names on the trading block. If the GM isn't gonna fire the coach, then shaking up the locker room - not saying this is the best way to do that, but he should know the personalities of the guys there - is perhaps the standard move. Trochek and others may not like it, but team performance is crying out for something to be done. Maybe Vinnie wants a change of scenery. So wait, the GMs job is to acquire players. The actual players meet, and determine that that GM isn't doing a good enough job of acquiring players? Or is their complaint that he's not paying them enough? Maybe they want Trouba back?
as a former colleague (Englishman from Bristol) used to say: "Three holes in the ground, mate"Well well well….

Rongos trending to be worse than the Pens now. Hate to see it.
What would they even sell at this point? Lindgren for sure. Probably Kakko. But a lot of their sludge will be tough to move. Who's taking Zibanejad? Does Kreider even net any value? Do they trade Miller rather than give him a raise/term? Big picture dumping Zibanejad needs to be priority #1 but hard to figure that'll be easy.
Id love for the Caps to get Kakko I think Carbs could do wonders for him. However not ready to move on from Lappy for him. CMM was in the same boat as Lappy last year and look at him this year.Lappy for Kaako?
CMM scored 18 goals last year. Lappy in 24 games so far this year has 0. It's not similar at all.Id love for the Caps to get Kakko I think Carbs could do wonders for him. However not ready to move on from Lappy for him. CMM was in the same boat as Lappy last year and look at him this year.
You could also argue that Lapierre was significantly better in his 4th year after being drafted.CMM scored 18 goals last year. Lappy in 24 games so far this year has 0. It's not similar at all.
I'm a fan of Chytil's, but I think the Eller acquisition likely closes the door on that one.I was wondering if Chytil would be a good target from the Rangers. He would give the Caps some assurance of stability as the 3C, but might block Lappy. Cost for him alone wouldn't be too terrible, except the Caps would need to dump some salary first or have NY take some back which would make it more expensive.
