Looks like the Wizards and Ted have joined in on the Red Tank. All 5 of their starting players are sitting out tonight’s game.
All five starters out, you say?

Pittsburgh losing 3-0 to the Devils. They are in real jeopardy of missing the playoffs with a loss tonight.

Meanwhile DET winning 4-0 and STL up 1-0 👍

Yeah 1 point behind now with Worse RW than Isles and Panthers.

Easy schedule tough with Detroit, Chicago and Columbus left after a game vs Minnesota.

Isles also a easy schedule with. Washington, Philly and Montreal left after Tampa.

Panthers have Ottawa, Washington, Toronto and Carolina. Also the two better teams last so they might save some players.

The action is low and the neck is slim/narrow, generally much smaller than the Fender's. For a dude with smaller hands the Rick plays perfectly for me. I get some clicking of the string on the pickup if I slap it too hard, so its not ideal for that style, but regular finger plucking or using a pick it plays just great. No fret buzz.

I would definitely play one first to see how it fits your hands.
Being a pretty heavy down striker finger picking-wise some fret/pickup clack for live stuff is acceptable. Studio a bit of a different story but studio is inherently artificial.

20. BUF : 81 pts - 6 games remaining
21. OTT : 81 - 4
22. DET : 79 - 5
23. STL : 79 - 4
24. WSH : 77 - 5
25. VAN : 75 - 5

I did not put here NSH, PIT and PHI even though mathematically they can change position with Caps.

Draft "position" : 9th
So the best position that we can get is 8th.

BUF will play against OTT and DET. Hope for a 3 points games.

DET and STL will have tough matchups. Fortunately Caps will play also 2 teams that are still battling for the playoffs.

The good news is that I don't think Caps will catch BUF and OTT so it means that we will have a chance to dream about Connor Bedard for few weeks (when is the draft btw?)

PS: It seems like Penguins won't draft in the TOP 3 if they miss the playoffs. Double pleasure.

We might not get Bedard but we have a decent chance for either of Michkov, Fantili or Carlsson, which is not bad either.

Ovi-Fantili-Suzdalev in 2027!
I don’t know about that. Unless they win either of the two lottery spots, they’re going to have to trade up to get any one of those remaining top 4 guys.

Maybe Michkov slides and we can trade up to the 5-6 spot. But, I doubt any top 4 team is going to trade down and pass up drafting Fantilli or Carlsson.

Pens sitting 1 point out of the playoffs.

You hate to see it.

Pens have not missed the playoffs since The Great Top 5 Draft Bonanza of 20 years ago.

So for them to be buyers at the TDL, then miss the playoffs then be stuck with no chance in the draft lottery....I'm not sure when that last happened.

I'm sure their fans will take it well.....

Are the Pens actually going to miss? Would be kind of wild if both teams are out of it; the last time the NHL playoffs featured a field without both Washington and Pittsburgh was in 2005-06. Been a run of dominance for these two teams. Collectively we can be the old man yelling at clowns telling these young disrespectful shitheads to get off our lawn.

Both teams lost in 1st rounds last 4 seasons. Dominance is far behind.

The cherry on top is watching Hextall, a Flyers legend, dismantle them.

Flames puke a hairball in a must-win game vs bottom-feeding Black Hawks. Two of the Hawks goals were a direct result of atrocious turnovers from Kadri. I almost felt a little grateful for Kuzy after seeing those turnovers, that's how bad they are:

Disagree. They dominated the league collectively for a good 15 years. Both top five in wins. Pittsburgh won three Cups and Washington won one. Winner of their playoff series went on to win the Cup four times. Multiple Presidents Trophies. Multiple first ballot HOFers. Two biggest superstars in the sport crediting with leading the league out of the Dark Ages after the last lockout.

They may not have had playoff success recently but the Caps and Pens have been almost unprecedented in terms of success and longevity in the salary cap era. Dominant is the right word.
