This. 53yrs old. 2 generations of Pens have rolled us. Some know Sid, Geno, Kris, Marc-Andre’.

I also knew Lemieux, Jagr, Murphy, Barasso. Stevens, ULF Samuelson, etc etc etc etc.

That team in the 90’s was better than their current version was…..and they’ve had it back to back? Imagine we get another Nick and Ovy in 2-3 yrs???

I’m serious.

f*** the Pens.

Bunch of spoiled bitches. Excuse me
Being the same age as Ridley Simon this....

Yikes Penguins.

Likely to miss the Playoffs despite buying at the deadline and if they squeeze in they are going to get stomped by the Bruins.

That Granlund trade... ouch. What's funny is that Predators who were the biggest seller are surging and closing in on Playoff spot right now. While Granlund has 3 points in 15 games for the Pens and he has 2 more years @ 5m AAV.

Thank you Hextall.

Dream scenario is Pens miss by a point (losing their last game in OT to do so), fire Sullivan, and we hire him.

I'd rather have our next coach to be one that doesn't refuse to play the youth.

Sullivan is a good coach though, just don't see the fit here.

i used to play those long shot parlays and still do for special events like the NCAAs……but I learned long ago that 3 and 4 teamers hit for me way more frequently….so I limit those big parlays now. I like small bets. Most of my parlays are $5-20……not looking to get rich, just give me a reason to watch other stuff.

MLB no sweat bet today. 10 legger hit. LOL. Drinks on me, lads.

I'm thinking maybe I need a new Rickenbacker 4003s. :naughty:

Or a shitload of greens fees.
Get the Walnut one and you will instantly be my hero for at least a week or so.

I've been pining for this one for a while to replace my 1997 Fireglo. But all my spare change goes to divorce lawyers these days.

How is the stock action on these? I have a 25yr old Fender that I've had to adjust like a motherf***er just to get it playable, and that means fret buzz once you get around the 14th fret or so.

Always found whatever Rick I picked up the neck/action was low and good. Unfortunately I wear my bases really low so that metal bar is right where my fingers need to be when playing that style and even when using a pick would never work.

Three games of critical importance for the tank tonight:

DET @ MTL
PHI @ STL
SEA @ VAN

Rooting for a Detroit win, a Vancouver win, and probably an STL win (a 3 point game would be nice). It's possible Washington could fall below Philly but it's really unlikely so it's probably just best to hope Washington nestles itself comfortably into the 8th draft position rather than being greedy and hoping for #7.

Yeah and the difference between 7th and 8th is only 0,5 % while 8th to 9th is a whole percent and 9th to 10th is 1,5 %. So value wise 7th and 8th are quite close while there is a bigger margin to the 9h and the 10th pick. If they get to 8th they have doubled the chances for winning the draft lottery.

Buffalo is out of reac now with 4 points and 2 games in hand and Ottawa doesnt have their 1st pick so no reason to tank and has a 3 point gap to us.

The action is low and the neck is slim/narrow, generally much smaller than the Fender's. For a dude with smaller hands the Rick plays perfectly for me. I get some clicking of the string on the pickup if I slap it too hard, so its not ideal for that style, but regular finger plucking or using a pick it plays just great. No fret buzz.

I would definitely play one first to see how it fits your hands.

Be better if the OT loss is a SO loss lol like the Rangers in 2010.

Is it wrong of me to hope the Caps don't win another game the remainder of the season. It's very odd to feel this way after being a fan of this team since age 8 back in 1983.

I am glad they are improving their draft position given that nothing else good will come of these last few games. But a lot of folks here have all their eggs in a very unlikely basket. As for me, I'm super excited to get a top 10 pick after so very long.

EDIT: Although, come to think of it, if the opportunity arises, who out there in the league would folks be willing to trade the 8th or 9th pick for?
