Pens will win, putting them 3 points ahead of the Capitals with two games in hand. The Barzal injury may end any hope the Isles have for the playoffs.

Watching Eliotte Friedman yesterday on NHL Network and he believed that the trade had been made with the Bruins, but the delay in announcing it was due to some machinations with the Bruins roster to make it fit.

Evidently Seravalli's reporting that the Bruins are trying to move Craig Smith to make it work.

Remember the game when Schenn was with the Leafs and he attempted to skate out of his end with the puck when Semin took the puck off his stick and immediately scored.

Schenn's never impressed me, still curious to see the return.

Then do what the Blues are trying to do. Move the UFA rentals you don't intend to keep long-term and see if you can flip those assets for younger NHL'ers. It's too late to tank but standing put with all these free agents is not a great plan. This team has shown this season and last season that injecting youth into the team actually has potential to make the team better rather than worse.
