Whatever Rutherford’s legacy is, it’s been tarnished significantly by this. He couldn’t have handled this year any worse and his consistent blaming of Bruce and the players instead of taking responsibility for his part in this shows really poorly on him. There’s not a lot that can unite all of the hockey world but JR’s poor treatment of Bruce and the embarrassment it’s brought on the Canucks franchise has been universally panned.

I don't really feel that bad for Bruce. He'll be okay. He'll get his money and he's still widely respected.

Tocchet has an impossible job now. I wouldn't be surprised if he's boo'd the first time hes on the jumbotron.

the bad news is the Rangers won (against Panthers). Think it comes down to 2 spots for Pens, Caps, and Sabres. I hate having played so many games compared to everyone else. We just need to win. We control that.
