That kid from Slovakia is making himself a lot of money these Olympics, I suspect.
I don’t think there’s a team/organization/coach I dislike more than Carolina and I’m not sure it’s close. They are trash.
I don't have a problem with the Carolina organization or the team, but Brind'Amour is the most unlikeable coach in the league.

This woman calling the Wild/Jets game…..just not doing it for me. Voice just isn’t very strong/doesn’t instill excitement in the game for me….but technically/skill-wise she can call the game clearly….very good in that regard.

You just watch these young fellas play today and wish Caps had even one of them. If only you could go back 10 years. Watching this Carolina - Panthers makes you kinda jelly. Can we swap Backstrom for Barkov, cap hit is similar starting next year, don't even start with the current cap.

Well i meant that i wish our stars were younger. Not so much that i want to take back everything they have achieved. But when talking about that timeframe they definitely underachieved in terms of post season success, and i would love to see them give a new go if it was possible.
Carolina was ass from 2006-2018 except for 2008 when they made the playoffs. It took them over a decade of being irrelevant and bad for them to get to this stage. They should be good now after picking so high for so many years.
Florida qualified for the playoffs three times between 1997 and 2019 and never won a playoff series over that span (I don’t think). They’ve been the Washington Commanders of the NHL.
We had our turn and now they’ll probably have their turn. Have to just enjoy still being competitive while we can — it’s the cyclical nature of sports.
But yeah sign me up for a Barkov/Backstrom swap. Would be amazing, though it’ll never happen.

I swear he saved it twice but my eyeballs can't confirm it. like obviously the main one but then again at the end when that Hurricane bats the puck, I think he swats it again. bananas

This reminds of the Jay Beagle save against Pittsburgh in the playoffs a few years ago. They lost anyway but if they ended up winning it would have been one of the most iconic plays in franchise history and nobody remembers it any more or really even acknowledged that it happened because of the outcome of the game. It was one of the craziest defensive efforts I’ve ever seen.
I honestly think it’s more impressive than The Save. *ducks for cover*

Wow - Florida are really good. Fun team to watch when Caps aren't playing. So much speed, tape to tape passing. They dominated Minnesota today 6-2 and hit about 4 posts as well.
Whoever said the Caps could hold their own against them in a playoff series is dreaming lol. Our team would be overwhelmed based on how they've been playing these last few weeks.
