Rooting for the Pens, in any situation, is the wrong answer.

I hate both teams, but I hate the NYR even more. A bunch of smug fans who mocked us in 2012, 2013, and crushed our hearts in Game 7 in 2015. I hope they beat the hell out of each other.

Eh, I can deal with Pens winning a long 7 game series this year.
Rags are wildly overhyped team living off the back of unsustainable goal tending and scoring. Also making a big deal out of Reeves especially in the playoffs doesn’t help. It’s Eli Apple on Copper Kupp all over again. You deserve to lose for letting that kind of stupidity happen.

My cousin is a diehard Rangers fan who hates the Caps and asked me who I was rooting for. I actually felt myself pulling for the Penguins, which was weird. I think part of me wants the Caps and Pens to win so the old guys can say one more time, “I’m not dead yet.”
