Welcome to the latest enlargement of the Quackverse population. Gird your loins and get swollen - it's time for the MEGA-MOCK MINI-EXPANSION SUPPLEMENTAL MEGA-DRAFT!
Here are the rules - please read them carefully. If there are any questions, just ask. It's not perfect, but it will do for now.
Pick players to fill a line-up as such:
CURRENT PLAYERS
LW - C - RW x 4
LD - RD x 4
G x 2
LEGEND PLAYERS
LW - C - RW x 4
LD - RD x 4
G x 2
If you look on the spreadsheet, linked below, you will see different tabs. The KEEPERS tab has all the players who are unavailable because they have been protected by the existing franchises. There are four tabs - CURRENT F, CURRENT D + G, LEGEND F, and LEGEND D + G - which have the rest of the players who were selected by the existing franchises. Anyone in a white box is on the KEEPERS tab and is unavailable - the rest are fair game (except for players from the defunct franchises - see below).
Each existing franchise can only lose three players total - after that, all the rest of their existing roster will be off-limits for picking. The Attack, Ghibli and Zeppelins are previous expansion teams, so their rosters are off-limits in their entirety (which you can see by the white boxes on the spreadsheet).
Everyone on the player tabs in red boxes at the bottom - the ones who were previously selected by the defunct/hibernating Bookworms, Pain, Surge and FlyTimmos franchises - is off-limits for now.
Anyone who hasn't been draft-eligible yet - e.g. Connor Bedard, etc. - is off-limits. We have a separate draft every year after the NHL Entry Draft to pick those guys. Only guys who have already been drafted, or have been draft-eligible and gone undrafted (e.g. Theo Rochette), are eligible.
Everyone on the Future/Clones tab is off-limits for now. We will deal with that later.
Any hockey player who was picked for something else is off-limits. For example, Joe Sakic is the GM of the Las Vegas Desert Ducks, so you can't pick him as a Legend player. There aren't that many of those, so don't worry too much about it - we'll check as we go. With someone like Sakic, it should be obvious that someone would have taken him, so before you try to draft him do a search (Control + F) on the spreadsheet in the Civilization tab.
Here is what you should include when you choose, using Sakic as an example (you don't have to make these boxes when you pick, obviously). When picking defensemen, tell me if they are LD or RD.

There are going to be things we need to address at some point, probably halfway through this, but let's get it started. Maybe after three players have been taken from each team and the rest of the existing franchises' rosters are frozen we will take a pause - let's see how it goes. Ask if you have questions.
This is the spreadsheet. See below where it says "Link to Full Spreadsheet for Defectives"? That is probably the easiest way to use this - click on that and open it on your computer so you can see it clearly.
- Hit Control + F to search
- Tabs are on the bottom - use those to look at everything
- Link to the full spreadsheet below that

After you have picked someone, tag the next person in your post so they know it is their turn. We usually give each person six hours per pick after the first round, so we'll probably stick to that. This is the draft order.
