With some of the worst of the a-holes off the board, I must turn my attention to just straight-up sonic torture.

You will have noticed most of my picks have gravitated to the 90s when I had not yet managed to extract myself from popular culture as much. I had a direct and visceral response to what was being perpetrated on us at the time. I'm now heavily insulated against the crap music in the world now.

This performer I'm only vaguely aware of despite his apparent ubiquity. I could maybe name one song. But every time I do end up in the world and hear a piercing grating sound, I inquire who/what bird is being slaughtered and sure enough it always turns out to actually be this vanilla sh*tcookie.

Adam Levine of Maroon 5, I don't even have a crappy music quote to use to introduce the next pick. I'll just mimic the sound of a dolphin crying and pass it to @mja .

Great pick. He's not a bad guy, and he is in an interracial relationship, which we in the Lapins organization are massively in favor of, but his music is f***ing stupid. The crazy thing is when they ask him who his favorite bands are, they are mostly good to great bands. He plays the drums if you need a drummer.

Oh yeah, I don't see anything negative about his character. It's about the music.

When I lived in Scotland, I used to say they had machines embedded along the coastline that sucked the flavour out of every piece of food that came in because even imported food was bland. He is the human musical equivalent - a blandness filter. Good music goes in his ears, gets processed in his brain and comes out more boring than could be imagined. He talks like he should know better, he has a tremendous vocal range and he just creates, well as I said in the original, vanilla sh*t.

Interesting that you should say this. I'm still not quite over some of the people getting selected for torture and death in this thread, and I was trying to find some way to move the powers at be to allow us to rescue some of them, when I hit upon a potential strategy. Said strategy would be quite risky and would involve purposefully selecting great human beings / musicians for the last 2 slots in order to force administration's hand. Problem: I can't force @Hollywood Couturier to relent on this, because he doesn't care about music. But....there's another. You see where I'm going with this. But I would have to select someone or some people I actually really appreciate though, and it would probably earn me a life time of unceasing spite and I'm not sure I'm ready for that. What to do? Punt, for now.

But this is still going to be a spite-informed pick.

Darth Vadar was the iconic villain of my childhood, so I was super excited to learn more about his tragic downfall. What a disaster HC was in the role. He was ill-suited for it, and didn't have the acting chops needed to pull off Lucas' clunky dialogue. You know who was also up for the role and might have been able to pull it off? Yep, Leo DiCaprio. Bastard turned it down.

Who knows if it would have resulted in a better overall product, but if anyone could pull off Lucas' dialogue, you have to think it would be Leo.

Most overrated establishment in the United States. Ingredients are so bland. They barely give you any food or fill the bowl. There are much better places to get a burrito or tacos or a burrito bowl. I do not understand the hype surrounding it and why there are lines out the door every lunch hour. I would rather have Taco Bell which sucks but not as much suckage as Chipotle.

Oh, and their queso sucks ass too. I place a high emphasis on how good of queso a place has.

Superior burritos/burrito bowls can be found at Pancheros, Moe's, and even Qdoba.
