Anybody mention Dean Prentice? Had six 20-goal seasons before expansion (had 32 goals his best season - which was a big deal then). Did the dirty work on the Rangers top line with Andy Bathgate and Larry Popein. YouTube used to have a video showing the highlights of Game Six of the 1965-66 Stanley Cup Final (Wings vs Habs), which demonstrated Prentice (Wings, #20) at his best - at both ends of the rink. This isn't it, but it'll have to do.

He got in the hall of fame first ballot which kinda shocked me, I think the only reason mogilny didn’t get inducted is cuz of what’s going on in Russia with the whole invasion of Ukraine, it’s ridiculous of you guys get what I mean not to induct a player born in Russia due to what’s happening in their home country. It’s BS but it’s for political reasons. Only first ballot hall of famer next year is lundqvist.

D-Men with Weber's resume are in the HHOF, WITH ONE NOTABLE EXCEPTION, and Shea Weber would be a very odd candidate to start the trend of leaving them out (provided he continues to add games).

EDIT : The notable exception is Carl Brewer. The catch : Weber already has moppre complete seasons than Brewer.

Moginly has been eligible for 13 years and there was nothing pressing saying that he would be inducted this year. The war wasn't a factor.
