- TRADE
Tampa Bay has traded forward Ryan Craig to Columbus for right winger Derek Dorsett.
Interesting deal here....
Dorsett is a good young player with some offensive upside.
Craig posted some a few points this season.
I think Dorsett, IMO is the better player. Just better well rounded. But Craig is a good player for his style of play.
Not even close to a blockbuster, but I like the deal for both sides.
Lidstrom retiring!?!? Detroit is screwed e5.
Now we know this is a game. lol
Soderberg just isn't coming overseas.
He's just throwing random crap out to make things interesting. You can send him any BS rumor you want.

Eklund fighting with an NHL GM over a rumor... e5. GM was believed to be Detroit's.
There are bigger things going on in Detroit. Samuelsson has turned down their offer and plans to head to free agency. Samuelsson wants a 4 year deal worth 9.5 million total.
Also, Detroit had made a trade with a division rival, bringing a top 6 forward to Detroit.
Heatley on the move
The Ottawa Senators and Calgary Flames have completed a blockbuster trade. The Senators have sent former 50 goal-scorer Dany Heatley, to Calgary, along with Shean Donovan, Alexandre Picard, Ilya Zubov, and Columbus' 2009 2nd round draft pick in exchange for all-star defenseman Dion Phaneuf, David Moss, Greg Nemisz, and Calgary's 2009 1st round draft pick.
"It was a tough decision to make (trading Heatley), but we felt the opportunity to add a true#1 defenseman in Dion Phaneuf was too good to pass up "said GM Bryan Murray at a press conference, "Dion will anchor the Senators blueline for years to come, and we wish Heater all the best in Calgary."
