@henchman21 HYPOTHETICALLY speaking, let's say most of these remaining UFA's actually remain UFA's until close to training camp...anyone on that list jump out as a PTO candidate?

Idk about that, he was fine in Toronto once Babcock left and then great in Edmonton. Ever since leaving Edmonton he's struggled but he also turns 33 this month. For a guy who has never been a fast skater, he's near the end.

PTOs are always kind of iffy to guess. Somebody could come in late and just sign like we did with Tatar. Barbanov, Shat Duces, Lidstrom, Bortuzzo, Mahura, Cousins, and Labanc all have some scrap pile intrigue. Don't think I'd go out of my way to sign them, but camp, sure.

I mean you could put him on the 3rd line and push LOC down to the 4th line. A deeper team is always better.
We just don't have any cap space for him.

making the Montour contract even more puzzling
He isn't a perfect player, but playing mainly as a third line winger he'd be just fine. Isn't a great center, but if one of our top three centers would get injured he could fill as 3C for a while and do okay.

Puckpedia must know that they are going to get all the capfriendly traffic so they need a new website.
Hope they trash that one and start over.
We probably have no cap space, but if I were the Avs I would still try and sign Kylington. Healthy competition, especially on the back end is always a good thing. Only problem is he's another left-shot defender so Avs won't do it.
Avs need a defensive-minded 3rd line centre most of all, which can push Colton to the wing on that line. Probably happens via a trade since I don't really see any amazing options out there.

Ugly ass orange jerseys, drafted a player out of left field to the point where him and everyone else is shocked, and not being able to or trying to sign any free agents to improve the team when you have the most cap space in the league.
I'd be so mad if I was a Ducks fan. Infuriated.
Eliteprospect is our only hope, they should look at all the features of CapFriendly and start making them for their website. They already have a huge database to make armchair GM teams and do mock drafts on. Their ads sort of suck, but I haven't ever had a problem with adblockers.

I'd not be. They are f***ing stacked at every position so they could afford a homerun pick like Sennecke.
Also it's smart not to ruin your rebuild by taking UFA shortcuts.
