The discussion was about kent johnson vs william eklund and you have somehow derailed this into some obsessive back and forth now about the use of the word talent. I dont see the high end talent with kent johnson, if you want to twist this opinion and now claim i said he has zero talent and take this to the extreme as if he cant even lace up a pair of skates, suit yourself. I dont see what you see in this player, i dont know how else to keep saying it. I am also done, one of the most annoying conversations i have had on here about a prospect over the years and that is saying something.

This is the one year you should be swinging on OHL/WHLers in the mid-rounds as there’s a far higher chance of someone falling through the cracks than of Euro guys who had a normal season.
Instead they’re just taking Euros that Jimbo and Weisbrod watched at the U18s.

Canucks last years = 20 picks + 5 next year ... 25th best team in the NHL by points

If I had to make a guess if the people in the front or the water bottles in the back of the photo are better at drafting, I think I would lean towards the bottles...

This is a good way to highlight the constant asset bleed that is maybe Benning's worst attribute and also the hardest one to explain to a casual fan.

Loved the Bill Guerin interview. I think he took a subtle shot at Jim speaking about Jud and how he trusts him and doesn't get involved in this day, just because he is the GM "that's not how we do it around here, I trust my people" LOL. Interesting comments.
