Die Hard for Bedard 2023
This pick intrigued me as it gives definite proof that it was a pure analytics move. Take away the biases (19 years old, played with Bedard a ton, lots of PP points) and he's not a bad player.
The Kraken claim it wasn't really based on analytics but a lot of their moves are clearly stats based. Why would you spend that much to have a huge analytics division and not use it; they seem to be publicly coy about it.
