He also said Skinner is close to being dealt to a team in the West. And that Carolina may end up with another two 1st round picks (in a Skinner deal and then in a Hanifin deal).

Ex-Leaf exec Mark Hunter is at the draft today but sitting in the stands with the London Knight contingent. He’s eligible to return to NHL employment on July 15. Did a lot of work for this draft but won’t get to use it.

I think he could call things but he just doesn't anymore. He hints about stuff but won't give teams or names. He just said on air he hates bringing up names but I don't doubt he's very connected around the NHL.

They probably won't but next year during the lottery when they see the Avs logo at #2 (The Habs logo is gonna be 1st ) they will wish they did.
