Do you know how many wingers have scored 40 goals since the last lockout ? And how many of them werent 1st or 2nd OA picks ?

However many there have been I know that none of them were wearing a Habs jersey when they potted #40, that's for damn sure.

I'm surprised a fan base that hasn't had a number one center since Koivu are trying to rationalize not taking the best Center in the draft.

It shouldn't be about taking the best center in the draft. You don't draft for need with a 3OA.

This draft doesn't have the best quality Cs. It's top heavy in wingers and Ds. Of course, it's quite another story if the Habs come to the conclusion that regardless of his status as the best C in a weak C-draft, he is the BPA at 3OA, then so be it. Take him on that basis.

The Zadina falsehoods are really bothering me because I've seen him all year in Halifax and people are really overstating his impact out there.

Watch his games against Charlottetown and see how ineffective he was at creating offense for himself and others.

This year I’d go with Zadina.
I wouldn’t be upset with Kotkaniemi.

I don’t want Tkachuk but I wouldn’t be devastated if they pick him.
