The closer we get to that NMC day though, the less leverage he has. Teams are likely to just wait him out if he holds.

If Eichel and his team really wanted to get this trade done he’d be a lot more public about his requests and just making things even more uncomfortable than they already are

That’s probably the next step for them as Buffalo seems to be content just waiting it out

He’s a top 15 forward in the league when healthy. Is he McDavid? No there’s only one of him

But he’s one of the best centers in the world, so yes absolutely a franchise player

Yeah that is nice. They have some nice stuff that the players and staff wear that isn’t available to buy. Goodrow was wearing a nice UA polo during his into that almost didn’t even seem to be Rangers branded but then a little NYR on the sleeve. Very fresh.

I still remember there was a hat in 2016 or 17 that was super nice that all the players were wearing in the locker room and I couldn’t find it anywhere.

I think the only reason Eichel hasn’t made more noise about this is bc they’re trying to avoid the “character issues” that have been rumored about.

if you’re pro Eichel, the draft happening last night helps you. A lot of the other teams in it had high picks which were supposedly on the table. It’s all an even playing field more or less now as I don’t think anyone gives up a 1st with out lottery protection.

Yes, absolutely it does but it has more to do with being badly outplayed in general than 1 incident which was addressed the next game. Tom Wilson is living rent free in some peoples heads on this board. Getting guys like Goodrow and Blais has nothing to do with Tom Wilson. It has everything to do with being able to compete with the bigger and more physical teams.

Yeah ANA lost 3rd overall, Kings lost 8 overall (but they can still easily do it), Rangers can obviously do it, Minnesota can do it. I think thats about it.
